Volvic's 1L-for-10L initiative in partnership with World Vision is our project to help communities in Africa, by building wells to give them the access to water they need. With your help, we hope to reach our target of generating 1.7 billion litres of water in 2008 for communities in Ghana, Mali, Malawi and Zambia.

As well as providing access to drinking water, your involvement may have a profound impact on virtually every aspect of day-to-day life in these villages, from basic health and sanitation, to giving children the chance to attend school. The wells will also help the irrigation of farmland, in turn providing food for the villagers and their livestock.

It couldn't be simpler. For every litre of Volvic 1L-for-10L bought, we will generate ten times that amount in Africa. In partnership with World Vision, we guarantee that the wells will be operational for at least 10 years and we'll make sure that local people are trained to maintain them, to create a legacy that lasts.

It's easy! By purchasing one of the 1L-for-10L bottles of Volvic Natural Mineral Water or Volvic Touch of Fruit you'll already be involved, but with a greater commitment you and your friends, families, classmates and work colleagues can really make a dramatic difference. Start a 1L-for-10L group on Facebook, ask your local store to stock up with the special 1L-for-10L bottles, or just tell your friends about the project.
